Forthcoming EU regulations pose a major threat to motorcycling, and UKIP is keen to support the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) and other bodies to protest. Measures like forcing all motorcyclists to wear ‘high-vis’ jackets and prohibiting modification of bikes – enforced by roadside police spot-checks – are a very real possibility.
