The Wansbeck branch of UKIP recently reformed its committee. The new committee consists of Linda-Lee Stokoe ( continuing as Branch Chair) Dr Gary Leighton (Secretary) Kristy Esther-Sharp (Treasurer). The evening was aided and assisted by John Tennant (p.a to Mike Nattrass MEP) and Gordon Parkin (North East Regional Organiser)
The branch meets on the last Thursday of every month at 7pm in The Old Ship Inn, Newbiggen by the Sea. Anyone living within the Wansbeck district is welcome. Just turn up and join in the banter and political debate. The branch consists of an ever-increasing enthusiastic bunch who find that if everyone does a little – a lot get’s done!
